Dale R. Hedrick is the President of Pembroke Student Housing LLC. He is also the President of Hedrick Brothers Construction, which he founded in 1979 and the Co-Founder of Hedrick Kirco Properties. Hedrick Brothers Construction provides preconstruction, construction management, design-build, general contracting, and virtual design construction services for public and private sector markets in Florida including commercial, industrial, aerospace, automobile dealerships, municipal, education, tenant improvements and historic restoration, with a dedicated division for luxury residential and equestrian estate clients. He graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Building and Construction from the M. E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction. PEMBROKE STUDENT HOUSING COMPLETES NEW STUDENT RESIDENCE HALL FOR PALM BEACH ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY

Pembroke Student Housing has completed a new, 163,000 SF student residence hall on the campus of Palm Beach Atlantic University, 351 Pembroke Place, West Palm Beach, FL.  The eight-story building consists of 154 one and two-bedroom units with full kitchens and double occupancy accommodations for 510 beds, a large meeting/conference space and community and private study spaces on each floor.  The project was delivered under budget and ahead of schedule.  Collaboration and communication enabled the team to work within an urban area on an occupied campus under tight site constraints.

The project team included: Developer: Pembroke Student Housing LLC, West Palm Beach, FL; Land Owner: Palm Beach Atlantic University, West Palm Beach, FL; Building Owner: Provident Resources Group, Baton Rouge, LA; Architect: Stantec, Miami FL and Dallas, TX; Contractor: Hedrick Brothers Construction, West Palm Beach, FL; Land Planner: Urban Design Kilday Studios, West Palm Beach, FL; and Civil Engineer: Reikenis & Associates, West Palm Beach, FL.
